Just 25 minutes down State Route 89A from Sedona, Arizona, Old Town Cottonwood is chock-a-block full of boutique hotels, nationally and regionally acclaimed restaurants, trendy gift shops and art galleries located in the historic buildings that line Main Street. Wine tasting venues crowd the street where, once-upon-a-time, bootleggers battled it out with local law enforcement during Prohibition. In the middle of it all, one of the most unique bookstores to found regionally, state-wide, and beyond. Located in the old Cottonwood Lumber building, which is perfectly suited to the store's dual nature – Adventures Unlimited is a store literally and figuratively divided in two.

From Wastelands to Wetlands: The Transformation of 27 Acres of the Sedona Arizona Wastewater Treatment Facility to a Nature Preserve and Bird Sanctuary
An oasis of six shimmering ponds surrounded by cattails, indigenous trees, pathways, bridges, and viewing platforms suddenly appears on the horizon. The is the Sedona Wetlands Preserve, a lush green sanctuary visited year round by hundreds of species of birds and other waterfowl.
The Broken Arrow Trail takes hikers on a winding path into a scenic valley surrounded by soaring red rock cliffs. The path gradually ascends to Chicken Point, a place with sweeping panoramic views and excellent photo opportunities.
