The Sedona Red Rockin' Grannies

The Sedona Red Rockin' Grannies have been entertaining audiences for over 20 years. Their enthusiasm is contagious - their versatility amazing! You've heard the expression that life begins at 40 - well not with these ladies - life begins at 50 or 60 or 70 and even 80. For them life begins when the curtain rises and the house lights dim. They truly love to perform, and it shows.

About every two years the Grannies present a full-length show. Between shows they can always be seen dancing down Jordan Road in Uptown Sedona at the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade and entertaining audiences at other venues around the Verde Valley.

The Grannies meet twice weekly to rehearse and learn new numbers. They welcome anyone to come out and watch their rehearsals and are always seeking new members. Prior dance experience is not a prerequisite, although it is helpful.

Through the years the Grannies have been known mostly for their tap dancing routines. More recently they have expanded to include more interpretive, exotic and even ethnic numbers. Their repertoire now includes tap, jazz, African, theatrical, rythmic and yes, even burlesque!

This is definitely NOT your same old Grannie group!
