Briar Patch Inn - Lodging in Oak Creek Canyon

Briar Patch Inn is an enchanting bed and breakfast resort in Oak Creek Canyon, just three miles north of Sedona, Arizona. Eighteen charming, free-standing cottages are tucked along the banks of the creek on nine pristine acres.

Briar Patch Inn is a quiet, romantic paradise with tall oak trees, dappled sunlight and the babbling sounds of the creek. It's a place where guests can relax, unwind and rejuvenate. Hammocks and swings abound.

Briar Patch Inn offers many amenities, including open-air, creekside massages, wood-burning fireplaces that are ready to go with the strike of a match, shaded patios, and homemade breakfasts that can be enjoyed in the cottage, the main lounge or creekside. During the summer months chamber musicians Allen Ames and Maryanne Kremer-Ames play violin and guitar during breakfast. The elegant, rustic cottages feature Southwestern furnishings and Native American arts. Most cottages have one bedroom and sleep two to four people. Three cottages have two bedrooms. A four-bedroom cottage doubles as a meeting space, making the Briar Patch a perfect place for intimate retreats, meetings, weddings, family reunions and other group gatherings of up to 40 people. There is even a well-stocked library for guests. There are no phones and only three TVs but cottages are equipped with CD players and coffeemakers.

The Briar Patch is open year round, with office hours between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. The inn is a top pick of many travel books, including Frommer's and Fodor's, and Arizona Business Magazine. Family-owned and operated since 1983.
