Upflow Vortexes (also symbolically called electric or masculine sites by some) have energy flows that help you soar to higher spiritual perspectives. They enhance prayers or mediations for blending with the Universe, feeling one with the divine, or facing a problem from a Soul level. Inflow Vortexes (also called magnetic or feminine) have energy flows that help you go inward. In them you will be more successful with meditations or prayers about your life purposes or how to heal hurts in your past. There are also Combination Vortexes that have aspects of both energies. These allow the seeker to experience more advanced or in depth spiritual skills and meditations.

Visitor Comment, June 9, 2008:

What about vortexes that distorts size, gravity, and sound? I have been to one that distorts sound where everything you say while you are in the vortex is sounded back to you like an echo.. but an echo only you can hear. Someone can be a foot away from you and hear your normal speaking voice. Then if you trade places, they can hear their voice echo, but you can't. It's positivly amazing; The one I went to was in Savannah, Ga, and I hear there's another one like it in Peru. How can these things be possible?  — Jessica

Great info! Asheville, NC has a vortex as well! At least one is located at the Asheville Vortex Recreation Center. You can read about it here:
