Tlaquepaque Celebrates Fourth of July
in Sedona Arizona

The Geritol Hipsters Celebrate July Fourth At Tlaquepaque In Sedona ArizonaSedona, AZ: Get ready for Tlaquepaque’s Fourth of July, Sizzlin’ Summer Bash celebration on Saturday, July 3, at the beautiful Arts and Crafts Village in Sedona, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Music is always a must for any Fourth of July party, and Sizzlin’ Summer Bash is no exception. Featured performers include the Geritol Hipsters, Red Rock Acapella, and Cat Black Band.

Festivities throughout the day will include pie eating contests, foot-tapping Dixieland, hot jazz and blues, potato sack races, face painting, and star-spangled crafts for kids, scrumptious BBQ, and even a gleaming red local fire truck. Admissions is free. And be sure to check out fabulous Independence Day Sales from 20% to 50% off at selected Tlaquepaque shops.

Sedona favorites, Red Rock Acapella, the dynamic women’s barbershop harmony chorus kick off the music at 11a.m., in Patio de las Campanas and again at 11:30 a.m., in Patio del Norte.

The celebration gets into high gear from 12 noon to 3 p.m., in Patio del Norte with the Cat Black Band. Sultry singer Cat Black and her rock-solid rhythm section, let loose with classic blues, rock, jazz and country featuring songs by Johnny Cash, Bonnie Raitt, Debbie Davies, Johnny Lang and original tunes that will get you on your feet.

“If you like traditional Dixieland jazz and get chills when you hear patriotic music from a bygone era, then don’t miss the award-winning Geritol Hipsters hailing from Prescott, AZ,” says Wendy Lippman, managing partner of Tlaquepaque. This fun-loving group “just plays happy music that’s guaranteed to put a smile on your face,” reports Bill West, the groups trumpet player. They will be performing in Patio de las Campanas from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
