L'Auberge de Sedona Sponsors "An Intimate Evening with Tony Curtis" in Sedona Arizona

The Kiss By Tony Curtis Showing In Sedona ArizonaSedona, AZ: L’Auberge de Sedona, a luxury creekside retreat nestled on the tranquil banks of Oak Creek, is pleased to be the presenting sponsor for the Sedona Arts Festival’s event, “An Intimate Evening with Tony Curtis,” which takes place on Friday, October 9th.  

The limited seating dinner will be held in L’Auberge de Sedona’s recently redesigned Monet Ballroom, decorated with artwork by the renowned actor and artist. A cocktail reception in the adjacent garden will be followed by an introduction of Tony Curtis by Robert Osborne, host of Turner Classic Movies, ending with a private dinner with Mr. Curtis.
 
Tony Curtis’ artwork will also be exhibited in the Tony Curtis Art Tent during the 2009 Sedona Arts Festival, Saturday, October 10th through Sunday, October, 11th. In addition to the intimate dinner at L’Auberge de Sedona, Mr. Curtis will be present in the Art Tent on Saturday morning, October 10th. This unique personal appearance by the legendary artist and actor is arranged in collaboration with the Goldenstein Gallery, the Sedona International Film Festival and L’Auberge de Sedona.
 
Painting By Tony Curtis Showing In Sedona ArizonaFor forty years Tony Curtis has enjoyed a successful second career as a fine artist. Mr. Curtis has always enjoyed working with painting, sketching and other mediums. However, his acting career took center stage. Now, Mr. Curtis finds himself more interested in working with visual arts. His acclaimed art works appear in galleries around the world including London, Paris and New York. One of his paintings has been placed in the world-famous Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan, New York.
