The package also includes two-$20 gift certificates for the winery and a $100 hotel credit for Reds Restaurant and the Spa at Sedona Rouge. The inclusive package price for two is $890 and is available from through September 20, 2009.

Guests are invited to relax in style in a Deluxe Sedona guest room. Accommodations boast dramatic colors, rich fabrics, and sensual Andalusia motifs. The hotel’s Mediterranean design features extraordinary spaces including a magnificent fountain courtyard with carved stone columns and intimate sitting areas placed thoughtfully throughout the grounds. High above beckons yet another extraordinary space - the Observation Terrace - perfect for viewing Sedona’s famous red rock formations and, after sunset, a sky blanketed with twinkling stars.

The average daytime summer temperature is typically 15 degrees cooler than Phoenix and evenings are 25 degrees lower than the Metropolitan area. The package is all about a cool outdoor summer getaway and a cool river float adventure.  The tasteful and adventurous guided river tour lasts three to four hours from start to finish.  The Sedona Kayaking shuttle leaves the lobby of the Sedona Rouge at 1 p.m.  The tour begins with a float trip down the Verde River in safe and stable kayaks (funyaks) highlighting abundant wildlife and magnificent scenery along the lush riverbanks. Small chutes and drops in the river add excitement and fun to this cool experience. The float trip ends and wine tasting begins at the Tuscan-style farmhouse of Alcantara Vineyard in the Verde Valley’s wine country. Alcantara Vineyard offers award winning wines and knowledgeable Sommeliers.
