Twenty plein air artists will participate in a competition, quick draw, public auction, exhibition and sale on the South Rim and at Kolb Studio.
The Plein Air artists to show are Joshua Been, Elizabeth Black, Amery Bohling, M. L. Coleman, Cody DeLong, Nancy Denzler, M. Stephen Doherty, Linda Glover Gooch, David Haskell, Raleigh Kinney, P. A. Nisbet, Michael Obermeyer, John Poon, Scott Prior, Serena Supplee, Williamson Tapia, Karl Thomas, Curt Walters, and Rick Wheeler.
The show opens on September 19, at Kolb Studio with a morning reception open to the public.
All artwork events will be on display and available for sale September 19 through November 15, at the Kolb Studio.
Everyone is invited and no admission fee is charged. View the Modern Masters studio work and “en plein air” paintings created during the Festival week. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to purchase a priceless piece of art that will be a forever memory of the majestic beauty of Grand Canyon.

Grand Canyon Village is approximately 115 miles from Sedona. The trip through beautiful Oak Creek Canyon to Flagstaff and from there to the South Rim, takes a little over two hours.
