Krazy Kyote Celebrates a Symphony of Color in Sedona Arizona

Autumn Colors In Sedona ArizonaSedona, AZ: Fall has arrived in red rock country and the canyons are a symphony of autumn colors – deep red, yellow, and gold.  October is the month to see fall foliage in Sedona.  But visitors need to act fast because come mid-November the show is over and Sedona is left with only those spectacular red rocks.

A visitor’s plans for a getaway begin with where to stay.  A great resort with a central location is The Ridge on the Sedona Golf Resort surrounded by red rocks.  The resort offers a pool, hot tub, fitness center, barbeque areas and personal Concierge service.  Suites feature a private balcony, whirlpool tub, fireplace and full kitchen.  Once at The Ridge, guests will be able to formulate a plan for seeing all that fall color.

Red Rocks Framed By Fall Colors In Sedona ArizonaFor autumn’s kaleidoscope of color, Oak Creek Canyon is definitely the place to start.  A breathtaking drive always, Oak Creek Canyon becomes indescribably beautiful in the fall.   On a drive up the canyon travelers are surrounded by fall colors, red rocks and Oak Creek itself.  Additionally, the trees create a canopy of color overhead head. This must be seen to be believed.  After a trip up Oak Creek Canyon take a sunset Jeep Tour off the beaten path and into the red rocks peppered with fall color.

The next place to soak up some color is Page Springs.  Located just seven miles south of Sedona, Page Springs is home to many local vineyards and is alive with color come fall.  The Verde River runs through the valley and the trees that surround it are lush with autumn hues.  While there be sure to visit the vineyards – most have wine tasting rooms and offer a large variety of award winning wines.  What’s left? Well to really see the red rocks and those glorious colors, get above it all.  Float above in a hot air balloon or take a helicopter ride through the canyons.  Either way, visitors are afforded unbelievable views.

Don’t let autumn in Sedona pass without taking a trip to soak up some color.  It is a trip that will create memories, and photos, that will last a lifetime. Call the Arizona Tourism Center at 877-444-8044 or visit arizonatourismcenter.com. Let them help you plan your perfect fall getaway.
