Sedona, AZ: Plan your September get-away to Sedona and enjoy fabulous hot jazz and cool art at Tlaquepaque, the Art and Soul of Sedona. The third annual State of the Art takes place Friday night, September 26, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and all day Saturday, September 27, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Designed for the new art collector and the seasoned connoisseur, a veritable banquet of sumptuous art will delight and amaze. Admission is free.
Celebrating Art and All That Jazz is this year’s theme that perfectly compliments the Sedona Jazz Festival happening the same weekend. The beautiful Spanish-style courtyards at Tlaquepaque will pulsate with the sweet sounds of jazz, blues and fusion vibes.
Friday night and all day Saturday, as a delightful accompaniment to the abundant feast within Tlaquepaque’s art galleries, enjoy The David Mills Trio; Bob Murnahan Quartet, fusion and blues; Steven Sandner/Jeanie Carroll duo; and Musette, a gypsy jazz trio, to name a few.
Special event art shows, demonstrations and one-on-one time with national award-winning artists are exclusively available for State of the Art attendees.

“Timeless Treasures” at Mountain Trails Gallery, with award-winning still life artist Lisa Danielle, painting photo-realism portraits of ancient southwestern pottery.

Inner Eye Gallery’s "GOURD-eous Designs," hand-painted and embellished decorative gourd art by Dian Gibson.
El Prado Gallery by the Creek’s "Visual Jazz," exploring the visual improvisations where every movement of the artist's hand creates a melody heard only between artist and viewer—featuring Mike Medow and Mary Kuder.
