Sedona AZ: The INNstitute At Sedona, a nature-of-the-universe think-tank, presents a unique gathering of visionary thinkers in an interactive forum, Native American concert and film screening of the ground-breaking film IN SEARCH OF THE FUTURE: What do the Wise Ones Know? at the Sedona Creative Life Center from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., on Saturday January 26, 2008.

Indigenous cosmology meets quantum reality in the round-table, talking circle discussion “Visioning The Future: An Exploration of Personal and Planetary Transformation.” Distinguished Native American Wise Ones will be presenting their visions, including Grandmother Bertha Grove, a Ute healer and elder, her son Alden Naranjo, Hawaii’s Woody Vaspra, President of the World Council of Elders, Marilyn Youngbird, Arikara-Hidatsa international lecturer and healer, and Chief Sonne Reyna, Yaqui-Carrizo peace emissary. The Western thinkers participating in the discussion are holistic mathematical philosopher Ralph Abraham Ph.D., father of chaos theory, John Renesch, business futurist, and Sakina Blue-Star, Sedona wisdom-keeper. Filmmakers Andrew Cameron Bailey and Connie Baxter Marlow will moderate the discussion. Participants are invited to submit a 150-word vision of the future prior to the event for inclusion in the discussion.

Ralph Abraham Ph.D.<<  “We can only have a future to the degree to which we can imagine a sustainable and peaceful future,” declares Ralph Abraham Ph.D., in the film, “IN SEARCH OF THE FUTURE. What do the Wise Ones Know?”

The daylong series of events opens with a blessing ceremony by the Wise in the Garden at the Sedona Creative Life Center beginning at 9:00 a.m., followed by the Round-Table Talking Circle, a discussion of the nature of the universe and the future of humanity from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Lunch is included. Dinner with the Wise Ones will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., with the evening concert beginning at 6:30 p.m. The concert includes Chief Sonne Reyna singing his Joyous Healing songs from the Heart, Sunny Heartley playing the Native American flute, and Adam Yellowbird on the Native American drum. This sets the stage for the screening of the director’s cut of “IN SEARCH OF THE FUTURE: What do the Wise Ones Know?” The forum will close with a Q&A discussion with the Wise Ones and the filmmakers.
