Sedona, AZ: Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village and Sedona's New Day Spa are joining together to offer a "2008 Pampering Partnership" for shopping gift certificates and spa discounts.

Tlaquepaque and Sedona's New Day Spa will kick-off the partnership with a pre-holiday special, a Holiday Shopping and Spa Day. Participants will receive a $20 gift certificate for shopping at any of Tlaquepaque's 40 stores and galleries, as well as a discount for a truly Sedona rejuvenating treatment.

"People can shop in the morning and have their spa treatment in the afternoon, making it a rejuvenating day," said Wendy Lippman, Tlaquepaque General Manager and Resident Partner. "The Tlaquepaque gift certificate is good for one week from when they receive their spa treatment, so this is also something that can be enjoyed over a weekend."

Phyllis Johnson of Sedona's New Day Spa said this is also a great treat for locals. "Locals can do their shopping at Tlaquepaque and end their day, or their week, with a special treat."

Participants also get a cotton tote bag from Tlaquepaque and a copy of the 35th anniversary Tlaquepaque photo book. The spa discounts will apply to one of two 90-minute treatments, a Sedona Clay Body Wrap and Massage or a La Classique Facial. The body wrap begins with an exfoliation, followed by an application of a creamy, scented red Sedona clay. After a face and neck massage followed by a rinse with warm water, a massage with nutrient-rich vitamins and minerals makes it an effective anti-oxidant and anti-aging treatment. The facial is a deep pore cleansing, restoring and relaxing facial, including five successive, gentle cleansing steps.

Appointments must be made in advance. Participants check in at the spa to confirm their appointment and pick up the Tlaquepaque bag, book and gift certificate. The offer expires January 7.
