Amara Spa In Sedona Arizona Presents
Wednesday Nights Open House

Hot Stones Treatment at the Amara Spa

Sedona, AZ: Looking for something new to do on Wednesday nights? Head over to Uptown's Amara Spa from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., each Wednesday evening for music, free appetizers, and wine. Amara Spa therapists are also giving complimentary head, neck and shoulder massages, hand/arm massages, free brow waxes and makeup application and complimentary nail polish changes. The spa is also giving away samples of its exclusive Elemis line, a London-based celebrity favorite. Where else can you get a brow wax, a mini-massage, a polish change, a bite to eat and a glass of wine – all for free?

Amara Spa Sedona - Elemis Cream

The Amara Spa opened at the three-year old AAA Four Diamond Amara Resort in December 2006. The state-of-the-art spa features six treatment rooms including one couple's room, manicure/pedicure area, relaxation area, separate male/female locker areas with steam room and showers, private yoga room, and the exclusive Elemis line of products and treatments.

The resort recently implemented a "Calendar of Events" for its guests and the "Spa Party" is the featured Wednesday night activity. Spa Director Melissa Siet wanted to temporarily open the party up to locals to encourage them to discover why Amara Spa is different than other spas in the area.

"We offer cutting edge treatments
and all-natural products that can't be found anywhere else in Northern Arizona," Siet says. "We also offer many unique and hard-to-find services, such as full-body waxing and eyelash tinting and extensions."

The weekly Spa Parties are "very laid back" says Siet, who is a featured contributor to Sedona Monthly magazine. "Even if someone wants to come for the free massage or brow wax, our take is 'the more the merrier'," she adds. "There's no pressure of any kind from us…we're just looking to share our knowledge, demonstrate our talent, and have fun!"

The Spa Parties are open to locals through September. For more information, call Spa Director Melissa Siet at 928.282.6088. The spa and resort are located at 310 N. Highway 89A in Uptown.
