Sedona, Arizona: Gateway To Sedona, the most visited online magazine for Sedona, Arizona, will publish a new podcast program featuring Sedona's premier entertainment duo, Tom and Shondra.
The Gateway To Sedona Travelogue, a podcast presentation covering current events, articles and interviews with Sedona business owners, began in September 2005, and became the first and only Sedona podcast carried by the Apple Itunes Music Store.
In addition to Itunes, scores of online podcast directories index the Gateway To Sedona Travelogue, giving it significant reach on the Internet. When a new episode of the Travelogue is added, the system automatically detects it, and the latest podcast becomes available to the public, potentially giving the podcast a larger listening audience than a local radio station.
In 2006, the Sedona Chamber of Commerce collaborated with Gateway To Sedona to offer free podcast interviews to its Tourism Bureau membership. Published interviews now feature a wide range of businesses, from a local scenic railroad to a Sedona outfitter, innkeepers, new age proponents, and realtors.
