The idea for Gateway To Sedona began in Spring, 2002; the site was officially launched on July 4, 2002.
Professional product developers Chuck and Victoria Oldham (originally from suburban Philadelphia, Pa., with a previous career in the gift & collectible industry) thought that a place with the awesome beauty and unique quality of Sedona and the Verde Valley should have improved representation on the Internet at that time, both in terms of visual appeal and reach to visitors looking on search engines.
