Thank you for visiting the Scottsdale Connection!
The Good Life in Scottsdale has attracted the Good Food in direct proportion to all its other pleasures. From dining palaces reigned by celebrity chefs to top-secret holes-in-the-wall, Scottsdale is positively packed with fresh, innovative and satisfying flavor.
Baffled by where to start? It could be as easy as stepping out the door of your room. Scottsdale’s luxury resorts boast some of the city’s best restaurants, often in multiples. The Scottsdale Princess, for instance, serves up a five-diamond fine restaurant with fare from the Riviera, a luxe Colonial-style Mexican restaurant, a top-notch steakhouse and a casual American bistro.
And while it may no longer be the cattle country that it once was, a great steak is always a point of pride for many Scottsdale restaurants. Camelback Inn’s Chaparral is another Scottsdale resort classic, with steak and seafood holding the places of honor. Speaking of which, seafood lovers take heart: even though Scottsdale’s deep in the desert, its proximity to Mexico and Los Angeles means plenty of fresh ocean fare.
Like so much of Scottsdale’s arts and culture, fusion is the theme for many of its top restaurants, where adventurous star chefs blend flavors of the Pacific Rim and the Old World with fiery Southwestern flair. Take Cowboy Ciao, where, as the name implies, Italian flourishes mingle with dusty-boots grub to create a sophisticated, but rib-sticking meat-n-patatas treat.
Scottsdale is big on good looks; the diet and health-minded seek delicious, exotic salads and low-carb menu alternatives.
With an increasingly diverse array of cultures coming to the Valley, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy excellent authentic Thai, Vietnamese, Indian, Ethiopian, and of course, Mexican cuisine. The only limiting factor – your appetite!
The Rancho Pino Grill is a favorite Scottsdale restaurant. The wine list is composed of a binder full of favorites and hard-to-find vintages from all over the world. Knowledgeable servers help make everything run smoothly.
From great pizza to gourmet cuisine, Scottsdale will never disappoint in the scope and variety of menu options.
