Bell Rock Plaza Thanksgiving Arts and Crafts Show

The annual Thanksgiving weekend Art and Craft Show at Bell Rock Plaza will include over 40 artists. Featured will be a new artist to the show, Joseph Ward. Joseph is a copper artist who creates wall pieces, sculptures, and fountains from tabletop size to large outdoor styles. They are intertwined with leaves and vines of copper and he uses wonderful verdigris patinas on some of the elements. Tim Ward, his uncle, inspired Joseph to pick up a torch and a hammer and begin creating his own copper sculptures and fountains. He has been creating his artwork for five years full time and has recently been heading into more elaborate sculpture. Joseph says, " Art to me is a nearly timeless expression of Mankind's journey through life, from the earliest cave paintings to the most modern works. I find that I have an insatiable desire and passion to learn and create something new and share it with others." The show will also include wood furniture, Oaxaca pottery, jewelry, sculpture, paintings, clothing, Stone candle covers, oriental rugs, photography, wreaths, pashima scarves, honey and jerky, Alpaca rugs, metal art, pottery, beadwork and more. There will also be a smoothie booth. The show will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., November 28- 29. Surrounded by beautiful red rock scenery, Bell Rock Plaza is centrally located in the Village of Oak Creek - Gateway to Sedona. The Bell Rock Plaza Art and Craft Shows are an excellent introduction to the Sedona art scene with many of Sedona's hotels, bed and breakfasts, restaurants, and shopping close by.
