Murder Mystery with Wine Pairings

What more could you ask for than an elegant evening of food, wine and murder? Fergus McFergus McManis of the McManis Family Vineyards has come to Sedona with his new French wife Chardonnay to reveal a discovery that will revolutionize the wine world. As wine connoisseurs gather for the announcement at a wine tasting featuring McManis Family Vineyard’s award-winning wines, the excitement builds. Soon a body hits the floor and a call goes out for help. Chablis. Merlot. Riesling. Nothing is what it seems to be in a world dominated by greed and revenge. That is, until that fateful day at the Marketplace Cafe when murder becomes the headline in the Red Rock News. Enter Detective Richard Dick, a gumshoe straight out of a pulp fiction novel who never met a skirt he trusted or a murder he couldn't solve. Through a swirl of smoky undertones and grape-stomping dames Dick must find the murderer and protect the innocent. Keep an eye out for suspicious behavior as accusations fly and the interrogations begin.　 Detective Dick teases your palate with a mystery that takes you from the vineyards of France to our own cozy community of Sedona as he searches for the killer. Everyone is a suspect as murder and laughter take over. It's up to you to help Detective Dick solve the crime! Join Canyon Moon at the Marketplace Café for this wine-tasting who dunnit. The evening begins at 6 p.m., on Wednesday, November 11. There is limited seating, so buy your tickets now by calling the Marketplace Café at 928-284-5478.
