Sedona Meditation Training Company Presents the Heart Opening Retreat
Looking for the perfect “reset button” for your mind, body and soul? The Heart Opening Retreat from in Sedona could be just what you’ve been looking for.
"People are struggling these days, and are so busy trying to ‘figure it all out’ that they forget about who they really are and what their hearts’ desire,” said Sarah McLean, Director of Sedona Meditation Training Company and retreat facilitator. “The Heart Opening Retreat is a great ‘time out’ from the fast pace of our lives, and the perfect opportunity to reconnect with what is most important and to feel a true sense of peace.”
This four-day retreat, in a private retreat facility adjacent to the wilderness in serene Sedona, offers time for deep introspection, finding out how to better take care of yourself, discovering your heart’s desires, easy silent meditations, opening yourself to the power of loving yourself, and nourishing time in nature.
Complementing these practices is a world-class soulful and mystical musician and singer, Kathy Zavada. Hailing from Mount Shasta, Zavada's enchantingly powerful music and song is offered in both Sanskrit and English, and her piano performances will gently leave each participant with a sense of being present and loving.
“Kathy’s music transcends the distracting stresses of our day to day lives,” says McLean. “It facilitates a returning to peace, no matter what may seem to be overshadowing it."
McLean, a meditation instructor and founding Education Director of the Chopra Center for Wellbeing, skillfully guides people into meditation where they will discover their inner voice and inner wisdom. She’s been featured in the New York Times and is often asked to appear on morning shows in the Arizona area. She has helped thousands of people to reduce stress and find their way to inner peace and discovering their life’s purpose through meditation.
Participants will find inner peace and strength and create a deeper connection to their own language of the heart. They will emerge from the retreat with better resources to handle uncertainty and stress in their lives.
