From Earth to Sky: Paintings by Sally Hall Exhibit at Kolb Studio Through February 17th: When she was a child, fascinating imagery literally came up out of the ground around Sally Hall's feet in the form of tantalizing remnants of "the Ancients" who had known the Grand Canyon before her. The opening reception for the exhibit is on Tuesday, December 1, from 7 - 9 p.m., at the Kolb Studio.

Museum of Northern Arizona Announces Painted Journeys on the Colorado Plateau Exhibit Through May 26th: They arrived with vision and anticipation, three Woodstock, New York painters, bringing new eyes and fresh perspectives to the Museum of Northern Arizona's 2007 Artist-in-Residence Program in Flagstaff. Painted Journeys on the Colorado Plateau is an exhibit of their 36 works (12 from each artist). The exhibit remains open through May 26, 2009.
Red Rock Fantasy at Los Abrigados Resort and Spa Through January 3rd: Red Rock Fantasy is a festival of more than a million lights providing a man-made marvel nestled within the world-renowned red rocks of Sedona. Boasting over 30 displays created by families throughout the Southwest, the festival promises never-before-seen marvels of light.
Mapping the Grand Canyon Exhibit at Historic Kolb Studio Through February 14th: Cartographers have attempted to map the complex features of the Grand Canyon for more than 150 years. Over time their equipment and techniques have changed dramatically, enabling them to capture fine details and diverse information. See the wide range of maps being used today for recreation, scientific inquiry, and land management. They are as beautiful as they are informative.
50 Years of the Sedona Arts Center - The Building of an Arts Community Exhibit Through January 15th: The Sedona Heritage Museum is hosting a special temporary exhibit that honors 50 Years of the Sedona Arts Center - The Building of an Arts Community. The display is a cooperative effort between the Museum and the Sedona Arts Center (SAC).
Museum of Northern Arizona Presents Lost Dinosaur Exhibit Through March 29th: A once in a lifetime find in 2000 by Museum of Northern Arizona paleontologists led to the discovery of the most complete therizinosaur skeleton ever found.
