From Earth to Sky: Paintings by Sally Hall Exhibit at Kolb Studio
Through February 17th: When she was a child, fascinating imagery literally came up out of the ground around Sally Hall's feet in the form of tantalizing remnants of "the Ancients" who had known the Grand Canyon before her. The opening reception for the exhibit is on Tuesday, December 1, from 7 - 9 p.m., at the Kolb Studio. |
Take a Hike for National Trails Day
Through June 6th: American Hiking Society's signature trail awareness program, National Trails Day, inspires the public to seek out their favorite trails to discover and celebrate trails while participating in educational exhibits, instructional workshops and trail work projects. |
Bell Rock Plaza Memorial Day Arts and Crafts Show
May 23rd – May 25th: The Memorial Day Art and Craft Show will be held at Bell Rock Plaza with over 50 artists in attendance and many different mediums featured. Richard Roberts is a painter from Black Canyon City. He has been painting for many years and he specializes in Southwest images. He does Native American portraits of Indian Chiefs in the old style as well as pictures petroglyphs and cactus landscape scenes. |
Grand Opening at Tlaquepaque Toy Town
May 23rd: If your inner child still gets wowed when walking into a fabulous toy store, no matter what your age, then Tlaquepaque Toy Town is for you. And be sure to bring the kids! ZGI Shorts Film Festival

Museum of Northern Arizona Announces Painted Journeys on the Colorado Plateau Exhibit
Through May 26th: They arrived with vision and anticipation, three Woodstock, New York painters, bringing new eyes and fresh perspectives to the Museum of Northern Arizona's 2007 Artist-in-Residence Program in Flagstaff. Painted Journeys on the Colorado Plateau is an exhibit of their 36 works (12 from each artist). The exhibit remains open through May 26, 2009. |
