Factory Outlets Art and Craft Show
April 3rd, 4th, and 5th: The Factory Outlets Art and Craft Show — the first of four throughout the year—coincides with the Harvest Moonwalk in the Village of Oak Creek. The Moonwalks have been designed to celebrate the new road and sidewalks in the Village and the designation of All American Road. |
2009 Annual Native Plant Workshop
April 4th: Mary Irish, garden writer, lecturer and educator who has lived in Arizona for 23 years will be the keynote speaker at Keep Sedona Beautiful's very popular annual Native Plant Workshop on Saturday, 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Sedona Red Rock High School. |
History of the Soldier at Fort Verde State Historic Park
April 4th and 5th: Fort Verde State Historic Park will hold its annual "History of the Soldier" event on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event offers visitors a living history timeline of military and civilian encampments from the Revolutionary War to the present day, and new this year is a Blackhawk Helicopter. |
Bolo Tie Exhibit at the Sedona Heritage Museum
Through May 15th: The Sedona Heritage Museum features Arizona's official neckwear — the Bolo Tie — in its current changing exhibit. |
Voices of the Verde with Mike Peach
April 4th: The Sedona Heritage Museum is proud to present Michael Peach in a performance of "Voices of the Verde." This presentation begins at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Sedona Heritage Museum. Drawing on extensive his background in philosophy, theater, and interpretation of cultural and natural resources, Peach uses the intimate power of story and poetry to give voice to Sedona's rich history. |
Lanning Gallery Features Impressionistic Painter Cynthia Reid
During April, Sedona's Lanning Gallery features Impressionist painter Cynthia Reid in an exhibition entitled "Spring Renewal." Reid presents her latest oil paintings filled with color and texture, light and shadow. |

Jerome First Saturday Art Walk
April 4th: The monthly tradition of Jerome First Saturday Art Walk has taken root and will blossom once again this spring with new artists and studios as well as Jerome's exciting and well-known galleries. Stroll the mountain town from 5 to 8 p.m., or take the free shuttle for an evening of art, live music, food and delightful conversation. Spend the day, have a meal in town and maybe even stay the night at one of Jerome's delightful accommodations. |

Museum of Northern Arizona Announces Painted Journeys on the Colorado Plateau Exhibit
Through May 26th: They arrived with vision and anticipation, three Woodstock, New York painters, bringing new eyes and fresh perspectives to the Museum of Northern Arizona's 2007 Artist-in-Residence Program in Flagstaff. Painted Journeys on the Colorado Plateau is an exhibit of their 36 works (12 from each artist). The exhibit remains open through May 26, 2009. |
