Three Planets Holiday Stargazing Special
Three Planets Holiday Stargazing Special
With the advent of three planets in the dark skies over Sedona, Evening Sky Tours, LLC is offering a holiday special through December 31. Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar systems and the Galilean moons of the planet are always visible through Evening Sky Tours large telescopes.  Venus, the earth’s sister planet has been brilliant in the early evening sky, and Uranus has been showing as a gorgeous sharp blue planet.  Uranus can only be seen with the highest quality instruments such as those used by Evening Sky Tours.

“Our customers will be amazed by the views of Jupiter, Venus, and Uranus through our custom built telescopes.  To celebrate the holidays, we are pleased to offer $10 off our regular rate for each adult.  Kids ages 7-15 are always $20 per child and kids under 7 years are free,” announced Clifford Ochser, President of Evening Sky Tours, LLC.

In addition to the planets,
guests will see the Andromeda Galaxy which is 2.3 million light years away, star clusters, double stars and nebula.

“We see multiple satellites and shooting stars on nearly every night and a few fireballs through the sky on occasion as well.” said Ochser. “All our tours also include a tour of the constellations using powerful green lasers. Expert guides will tell stories of how the constellations were named in ancient times and how they are used today as a critical navigation aid.”

The Sedona skies in December are always beautiful as the winter constellations and objects appear.
Tours are scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. and last about 1 ½ hours.  Cozy blankets and comfortable chairs are provided to enhance the guest’s comfort during the Tour of the Universe.
