Through  February 17th: When she was a child, fascinating imagery literally came up out of the ground around Sally Hall's feet in the form of tantalizing remnants of "the Ancients" who had known the Grand Canyon before her. The opening reception for the exhibit is on  Tuesday, December 1, from 7 - 9 p.m., at the Kolb Studio.

Through December 15th: Gallery 527 continues the fascinating show "Babel" by Elaine Jolie.  In addition, on December 6, the Annual 'Small Work Holiday Show' will open with many affordable, original art pieces. A special metal Christmas Tree by Rich Bettencourt is decorated with ornaments by jewelry artist Marian Ward and fused glass artist Lorraine Fexas.

November 22nd - 23rd: November is a premier month for art and craft shows with the first of two shows at Bell Rock Plaza in the Village of Oakcreek. Held on two consecutive weekends both shows will be bursting at the seams with artists and craftsmen eager to help everyone get ready for Christmas.

Through February 14th: Cartographers have attempted to map the complex features of the Grand Canyon for more than 150 years. Over time their equipment and techniques have changed dramatically, enabling them to capture fine details and diverse information. See the wide range of maps being used today for recreation, scientific inquiry, and land management. They are as beautiful as they are informative.

Through December 20th: Homol'ovi Ruins State Park near Winslow will be hosting Hopi artists each Saturday through December. Each Saturday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., a different Hopi artist will be demonstrating artwork at the park visitor center.
