Sedona Heritage Museum Hosts Traveling Exhibit on the Arizona Quarter

For a limited time the Sedona Heritage Museum is hosting a special traveling exhibit on the “Arizona State Quarter.” The temporary exhibit will be on display at the Museum from through November 12. The “Arizona State Quarter” traveling exhibit, created by Wells Fargo Bank, the Governor’s Office and the Arizona Capitol Museum commemorates Arizona’s official quarter from its conception to circulation. This special coin was released this past summer and is the 48th in the U.S. Mint’s 50 State Quarters Program. The “Arizona State Quarter” exhibit runs simultaneously with the Museum’s fall exhibit celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Sedona Arts Center. The Museum’s Gift Shop is selling un-circulated Arizona Quarters in display holders during the exhibit. The Sedona Heritage Museum is located at 735 Jordan Road in Uptown Sedona and is open daily from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, call 928-282-7038 or visit www.sedonamuseum.org.
