Sedona Ceramic Artist Jinni Newnam Debuts at Gallery 527 in Jerome

Gallery 527 welcomes Sedona ceramic artist Jinni Newnam. First Saturday Jerome Art Walk on October 4th will be the opening night for this lovely gallery’s featured artist. Image: “Hovenweep” by Jinni Newnam is a ceramic and copper sculpture inspired by the artist’s southwest experience. Jinni creates one of a kind bowls, vases, jars and sculptural pieces. Her earthy color palette and Asian inspired forms are a delight. One highlight of this newest grouping is a tri-color bowl with pine needle border. Jinni has been influenced by the Sedona colors and landscape and the simple beauty of her work reflects her love of the southwest. Sculptural pieces with copper accents, perfect sake sets in rich dark tones and vessels of classic ginger jar shapes will be shown along side the other talented artists in this group. Musical guest Silver Shadow will be on hand for another great Gallery 527 party. The festivities will begin at 5:00PM and end at 8:00PM.
