Sedona Public Library Features Author Jan Sitts
Sedona Public Library Features Author Jan Sitts
Jan Sitts will be discussing her latest book, TextureColorFeeling, as a featured artist in the library's 50th Anniversary Author Series.  The program, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the Si Birch Community Room on Friday, July 11 at 12 p.m. Copies of Sitt’s book will be available for purchase and signing following the presentation.

Sitt's is a painter, an experimental mixed media artist, and a self-described layerist.  She intergrates unusual materials into her work always striving for a different essence of the painting experience.

“There is a distinct sculptural feeling I am expressing in a two dimensional form.  I love the unpredictable colors weaving their way through layers of bold textural statements.”

Her recently published art book consists of painting illustrations and techniques “TextureColorFeeling”.
