St. Patrick's Day Parade and Shamrocks in the Red Rocks Road Race
Come celebrate the 38th Annual Sedona St. Patrick's Day Parade and festivities on March 15th in Uptown Sedona. Rev up your day at the starting line of the Shamrocks in the Red Rocks Road Race. Registration for the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk or a 5K Race begins at 7:30 a.m., at the corner of Jordan Road and Mesquite Avenue. The race starts at 8:30 a.m., on Van Deren Road.
The Parade, with its' theme of "Goin' Green," will begin at 10:30 a.m., from Jordan Historical Park and make its way along Jordan Road. Our Title Sponsors - Barking Frog and Cowboy Club Restaurants - helps make it all possible. Come watch from the grandstands (thanks to the City of Sedona) on the east side of Jordan Road opposite Mesquite Avenue or bring your own chair to set up along Jordan Road. The Master of Ceremonies is John Conway of audioworxx.
The Festival begins right after the Parade thanks to our Festival Title Sponsor, Sedona Trolley. Located directly adjacent to the grandstands, the festivities will open with the Irish traditional bagpipe performance.
Listen and dance to live entertainment by Mac Seoin Band with Karl Jones. Enjoy free family activities: Puff the Dragon, Bouncy Castle, Face Painting by Sedona Arts Center, Kids Drum Circle and Brain Developing Exercises by BR Clinic, Balloon Animals by Christy, Knighting by the Great Celtic Warrior Kailen, Irish Maiden and Fairies, "Monster Parade Mural" coloring activity, and Plein Air Artist Demonstrations by Sedona Arts Center, and more. Partake from the food court featuring Barking Frog and Cowboy Club Restaurants, Canyon Breeze Restaurant, Hitching Post Restaurant, Red Rock BBQ, and Whole Living Resources. Quench your thirst in the Beer Garden, thanks to Oak Creek Brewing Company.
This free community event is made possible by the generosity of local community businesses and volunteers. Free parking is available at the Uptown Municipal Parking Lot ¨C follow the event parking signs on Hwy. 89A in Uptown. The Parade and Festival are proudly presented by Sedona Main Street Program, NAU Parks & Recreation Management Program, and the "Green Team," Sedona's volunteer Parade & Festival Committee.
