From Earth to Sky: Paintings by Sally Hall Exhibit at Kolb Studio
Through February 17th: When she was a child, fascinating imagery literally came up out of the ground around Sally Hall's feet in the form of tantalizing remnants of "the Ancients" who had known the Grand Canyon before her. The opening reception for the exhibit is on Tuesday, December 1, from 7 - 9 p.m., at the Kolb Studio.

Turquoise Tortoise Gallery Features Native American Abstract Expressionist
January 4th: This month Sedona's thirty-six year old Turquoise Tortoise Gallery celebrates one of its newest artists: Abstract Expressionist painter Joe Maktima. For this artist the seeds of artistic expression were planted at a young age: Maktima grew up in the traditional land of the Hopi watching his grandfather, a craftsman and artisan, carve wood and paint and watching his father create paintings at their kitchen table.

Victorian Christmas At Fort Verde
Through January 5th: Visitors to the park can glance into the past to see how Victorians celebrated the season in the frontier during the late 1800s. Garlands of pine and other local greens decorate the buildings and Christmas trees wear handmade decorations unique to frontier life.
