Bi-lingual Family Storytime at Sedona Public Library

The family bi-lingual story time will feature the multi-cultural holidays held during the month of December. There will be an opportunity to hear stories about some of the many holidays celebrated by different cultures and religions including Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Christmas. There will be stories told in Spanish and English. Children ages 2 -12 and their families are invited to participate. One of the activities will invite children in attendance to participate in a mini-Posada or re-enactment of the journey to Bethlehem, along with easy crafts and light refreshments. Another family bi-lingual storytime will take place the first Sunday of the new year; January 6, 2008, where we will focus on celebrating Three Kings Day. The Sedona Public Library offers a myriad of programs for all ages and all interests. For information about this or any program as well as the wide variety of services the Library offers, please call 928-282-7714. This program is free to all, although your donation to support the Library's programming efforts is appreciated. |
