Sedona Public Library Presents Sophie Scholl - The Final Days
The presentation of “Sophie Scholl – The Final Days” on Wednesday, December 5, at 6:30 p.m., in the newly dedicated "Si Birch Community Room."
This true story of Germany’s most famous anti-Nazi heroine recreates the last six days of Sophie Scholl’s thrilling, dramatic life: a heart-stopping journey from arrest to interrogation, trial and sentence in 1943 Munich. Unwavering in her convictions and loyalty to her comrades, her cross-examination by the Gestapo quickly escalates into a searing test of wills as Scholl delivers a passionate call to freedom and personal responsibility that is both haunting and timeless.
The presenter, Dick Canby, has been a resident of Sedona for the past 46 years, and received his degrees in Geology and Education from Northern Arizona University. He is self-taught in the areas of law, government, history, and especially government conspiracies and cover-ups. Canby and has done many presentations at the Sedona Public Library in the past, covering 9/11 and other government complicities and false-flag operations.
Canby’s travels throughout the old Soviet Union, most of Europe, and into South America have given him a wonderful understanding and background in relating with the local people and how they feel about their country and governments. His extensive research and studies over the last 45+ years have enabled him to see through the false pretenses being used by the Global Elite (banking cabal) in their attempt at One World Government, or a New World Order, and this is what he most desires to pass on to others. All of his presentations are meant to wake up and inspire the sleeping populace before it is too late.
There will be a general discussion following the movie.
