Bell Rock Plaza Arts and Crafts Show
Bell Rock Plaza Arts and Crafts Show
Gift ideas abound at the Bell Rock Plaza Art and Craft Show. There will be an abundance of artists and craftsmen selling their wares. Over 45 artists will converge on Bell Rock Plaza with wonderful Christmas present items all made by hand in the USA by the artists themselves. What an opportunity to see such a selection of gifts.

Joining the show is a favorite from the past, Tim Ward, who is now joined by his brother, Chris Floyd. Tim makes wonderful copper fountains which look like plants in a copper pot. His creations run from smaller tabletop versions to huge courtyard sizes with many tiers.

Tim started creating his fountains many years ago and says " I woke up one morning too old and plump to make money as a professional rodeo cowboy". Tim is also a writer and a songwriter. Currently he has a studio and family run business in Prescott.

Travis Terry and his wife Cara will be joining the show from Canyon de Chelly in Chinle. Travis studied with Carlos Nakai and  recently had a concert in Sedona. He will be selling flutes as well as playing a little. Cara is known for her beautiful necklaces, which have an off center different bead in every one as her signiture. Come by the show and chat with Travis and Cara; they are very friendly and Travis will be selling his CD's too.

Last month's show got a little windy at the beginning and several artists had to leave. Philonese will be back at this show for those of you who missed her. She has wonderful spirit doll sculptures and war dresses inspired by the past. Her work is very ethnic and primative and features exotic tribal batiks and beads.

Donna Campbell, founder of the Bell Rock Plaza Art and Craft Shows, moved to the Village of Oak Creek from Laguna Beach, California, where she was a founding member of the Sawdust Festival. For the past eleven years, Campbell's vision has been to create a vital art show venue in Sedona and the Village of Oak Creek.

Artists come from far and wide to participate in the Bell Rock Plaza Art and Craft shows, as well as many local artists. Featured artists fromm past shows include Kachina doll carver, Andy Rickey, water colors by Diane DiMaggio, textured wall sculptures by Terri Dennis, and beautifully crafted bead jewelry by Astrid Zunnan. Others include Gary Burke, Danny Buchbaum, Joe Berardi, Charlie Watkins, and Virgil Nez. Award-winning artisans are included, ensuring quality arts and crafts. Additionally, each show hosts from 35 to 50 artists, offering a broad variety of arts and crafts.

Surrounded by beautiful red rock scenery, Bell Rock Plaza is centrally located in the Village of Oak Creek - Gateway to Sedona. The Bell Rock Plaza Art and Craft Shows are an excellent introduction to the Sedona art scene with many of Sedona's hotels, bed and breakfasts, restaurants, and shopping close by.
