Join the galleries and studios of historic Jerome for First Saturday Art Walk on December 1, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. This event has grown to become a perfect night out in this magical mountain town. December 1st in Jerome also brings the glowing candles of the luminaria throughout the town and the official Christmas Tree lighting in the park at 7:00 p.m. To add to the festive night, SpiritsOfJerome.com presents Spoken Circus, a fusion of poetry and folk music created to showcase the experience of members Megyn Neff, Marykate Glenn, and poet Aaron Johnson. Spoken Circus picks up where slam poetry left off providing a blend of violin, folk guitar, slam poetry, beat-box harmonica, and saw violin; complimenting award-winning poetry with award-winning performance.
Award winning custom jewelry artist Rick Hernandez can always be found working in his studio-gallery at Jerome¡¯s Jewelry Market, located next door to Gallery 527. Hernandez is a self-taught, Phoenix born, jeweler who enjoys working with Arizona stones such as turquoise and peridot. He specializes in Australian Opal inlay, and adds many beautiful stones to accent his pieces such as tanzanite, sugilite, and diamonds. He has the rare ability to turn a piece of rough opal into a glimmering sparkle of colors. Rick¡¯s love of his work is obvious in his one of kind custom pieces created for private clients as well as his unique personal masterpieces.
Gallery 527 will feature the exceptional and spectacular chair created by fused glass artist Lorraine Fexas, and furniture maker Craig Nimtz. Jerome legend Dave Rentz will be performing.

Designed and crafted locally, their belts, wallets, handbags, travel accessories and a wide variety of backpacks and satchels all hand-made are the perfect functional gift of art. Located at 415 Main St. just across from the Cooperative Gallery.
